Description
Departing from Salò, we will sail out of the gulf toward the beautiful and historic Villa Portesina. Skirting Portese, a charming former fishing village, we will reach the enchanting Isola del Garda. After passing in front of its neo-Gothic Venetian-style palace, we will cross the lake eastward to reach the splendid Punta San Vigilio, a historic location dating back to the 1500s where time seems to stand still.
After admiring Villa Guarienti and the adjacent Baia delle Sirene beach, we will stop for 1 hour for an aperitif or 2 hours for lunch (or dinner) at the prestigious Locanda San Vigilio, disembarking at this charming little harbor dominated by the famous bas-relief depicting the “Marriage of the Lake.”
Back on board, we will resume navigation eastward, passing the nearby and prestigious Villa Canossa and then the town of Garda, before heading back toward Salò.
