Description
Departing from Salò, we will sail out of the gulf, passing by the beautiful and historic Villa Portesina. Skirting Portese, a small village with a still-living fishing tradition, we will then reach the enchanting Isola del Garda. After cruising in front of its neo-Gothic Venetian-style palace, we will head toward Fasano, continuing on to Gardone Riviera.
From a unique perspective, you will admire the luxurious Villa Fiordaliso and the Torre di San Marco, sites of the romantic encounters between Claretta Petacci and Gabriele D’Annunzio at the Vittoriale. Next, we will pass the imposing Grand Hotel Gardone, the first four-star hotel on Lake Garda, which hosted Winston Churchill in 1949, and then Palazzo Terzi Martinengo in Barbarano, built in 1556.
We will enjoy exclusive views of the private Art Nouveau villas along Via Cure del Lino, and finally, passing by the Duomo and the Loggia della Magnifica Patria—two impressive buildings along the Salò waterfront—we will return to the departure pier.
